fbps banner australia (1000X500)HOW E-X-C-I-T-I-N-G as can be?

My VERY first Linky Party, co-hosted by Maureen from The Orgasmic Chef!

When I saw Alyssa’s post on EverydayMaven and Faith’s post on An Edible Mosaic, I could hardly wait until I read Alyssa’s follow up Food Blogger Prop Swap Reveal Date!

I loved reading Faith’s Food Blogger Prop Swap 2013 and was also excited seeing the “gorgeous” box from Stefani from Cupcake Project!

You can only IMAGINE “how much” I S-Q-U-E-A-L-E-D with delight (you know my squealing about all things food by now lol) when Alyssa and Faith agreed to link food blogger prop swap AUSTRALIA with food blogger prop swap USA!

Here is what Mary from Barefeet In The Kitchen blogged about the experience!

What do I have to do?, I “hear” you ask?

We have tailored the swap slightly for our Australian Food Bloggers Community!

WHO can participate?
— food bloggers who live in Australia
— a food blog is an actual WordPress, Blogger, Typepad, or Tumblr page, not a Facebook page or Pinterest group board; all blogs will be checked prior to approved participation

WHAT to swap?
— all food blogger prop swap AUSTRALIA participants will need to purchase a Prepaid Parcel Post Medium 3k Satchel from Australia Post; the Parcel Post delivery service will ensure parcels will be delivered within Australia in 2+ working days; all approved participants will pay the same amount of $12.73.

IMG_3786— suggestions of props could include cloth serviettes, cake toppers, linens, place mats, paper; you are only limited by your imagination; remember NOT to send anything that will break, crack or be damaged.

“What happens if I want to participate but don’t have many props to swap?”, I “hear” you ask?

In South Australia, I have found Ned’s has some “gorgeous” inexpensive props; many people have commented on some of the items I purchased.

Don’t “rejectThe Reject Shop Australia wide too! You never know WHAT you will find that ties into your food theme too!

Sam’s Warehouse (also Australia wide) is great especially when they have sales on!

I think you get the idea. As long as your swap weighs 3 kilos or less, you satchel will be on its way.

DISCLAIMER:
Maureen and I are organizing and hosting this event. As co-hosts, we assume no legal liability or responsibility, and will not be responsible for items that are lost or damaged in the mail, or for sending packages on behalf of bloggers who back out at the last minute.

I am sure everyone who signs up for the food blogger prop swap AUSTRALIA WILL be “AS E-X-C-I-T-E-D” as Maureen and me!

The success of the swap (and in what we share with the food bloggers prop swap USA) will be up to you.

We hope by your participation, you will make sure to send your satchel to your assigned person.

WHERE to sign up?, I “hear” you ask?

All Maureen and I ask is you place your first name and blog name in the comments section on mine or Maureen’s food blogger prop swap AUSTRALIA post and we will be in contact with you.

WHEN are the deadlines?

Thursday, August 22, 2013 — Post Date
All posts go live on this date.

You will need to include both mine and Maureen’s food blogger prop swap AUSTRALIA link in your blog post.

Maureen and I am sure Alyssa from EverydayMaven and Faith from An Edible Mosaic, would appreciate comments on their blog posts too! Thank you!

If you have any questions about the food blogger prop swap AUSTRALIA, feel free to contact Maureen or me!

WHY participate?
it will be a fun way to connect with Australian food bloggers and pass on gently used and pre-loved food blogging props to another food blogger in our community.

UPDATE
Due to circumstances beyond our control, Maureen and I have decided to cancel the swap due to a lack of participation. We do indeed appreciate (and have personally thanked) those who did sign up.
